Position open for a CNM to join a currently solo CNM home/hospital birth practice in Baltimore. Services include well woman care and contraception, including IUDs and Nexplanon. This is a part-time job with 2-3 office days per week, some admin, and on-call for births until trained.

The Frederick Birth Center has finally received funding with the best estimate of opening in March! They have a Medical Director, a location (130 Thomas Johnson Dr. Suite E, 21702), and plans to remodel a bit. They are ready to begin sifting through resumes for CNMs and RNs. They are planning to hire one (1) full time midwife with 3+ years experience with birth, and are open to hiring a new grad CNM or an RN as the second birth attendant. They would train the new grad CNM who would then transition after 6-12 months into their full CNM role.

Maryland’s General Assembly is a citizen-based legislature made up of 141 elected delegates and 47 senators for a total of 188. Each legislative district is made up of one senator and three delegates who are voted into office by their constituents every four years.
The Maryland General Assembly convenes every year for 90 days from early January until mid-April. During the 90-day legislative session, legislators will consider over 2,500 pieces of proposed legislation and will pass approximately 700 bills that will become law.
