The Frederick Birth Center has finally received funding with the best estimate of opening in March! They have a Medical Director, a location (130 Thomas Johnson Dr. Suite E, 21702), and plans to remodel a bit. They are ready to begin sifting through resumes for CNMs and RNs. They are planning to hire one (1) full time midwife with 3+ years experience with birth, and are open to hiring a new grad CNM or an RN as the second birth attendant. They would train the new grad CNM who would then transition after 6-12 months into their full CNM role.
